Team Communication

With more than 250 registered swimmers, it is critical to maintain effective communication between coaches, parents, and swimmers. This year, the following methods will be used to distribute team information:

• Website

Please bookmark www.fairhopefast.org on your phone, your computer and wherever you reach the internet. It will have all the information about the swim team, sponsorship information, maps & directions a google calendar to sync with your device, etc.

• Poolside

Swimmers meet ribbons and DQ forms will be sorted and placed in your family file folders—please be sure your swimmer is dry when checking their family folder. Dripping water into others folders can ruin their ribbons. Please see a Coach for any missing or incorrect ribbons and to discuss the DQ forms.

• Via Email, Text

Periodically, we will send out a group email notification of important upcoming news and events. If you would like to add someone to our email list please email the address to fairhopefast@gmail.com

• Facebook

Become a Facebook friend of the Fairhope Area Swim Team to view periodic Facebook postings! The Fairhope FAST Facebook page is private.

• Dry-Erase Whiteboard

The whiteboard will contain updated/amended information, so be sure to check this board on a daily basis, as you drop/pick-up your swimmer—or, make sure your swimmer checks the board daily for new information. This whiteboard is located just outside the Team Room door.

• Sign-Up Posters

Located on the wall behind the bleachers, these posters are used to SIGN UP for any meet(s) that you know your swimmer will be able to attend. There is a separate Sign-Up Poster for each meet, including City Meet. Please sign up at least 2 days prior to the swim meet, so coaches can plan accordingly for meet entries. You will sign up under your swimmers age as of June 1^st.
